The "environment" team aims at analysing production and consumption patterns in order to assess current situation and trends and identify sustainable solutions for decision-making.
The team offers its experience and competencies to the public sector. The team works alongside their clients to guide them in their challenging environmental actions and help them to face their international obligations and commitments.

The "environment" team encloses technical and scientific competencies from a broad range of disciplines.
Three chemists, two agronomists, three economists and a specialist in Politic Sciences coming from different countries are experts in the following fields:
. Assessment of environmental impacts from economic activities, households' consumption, materials flows and products during their life cycle;
. Evaluation of policies and measures;
. Follow up of clean technologies;
. Development of environmental accounting and
. Updating and putting into place environmental consolidated and in preparation legislation.
The team members collaborate continuously in order to:
. Share robust, broad and complementary knowledge;
. Develop a dynamism and a rigueur in the collection and treatment of information;
. Ensure a critical, scientific and independent perspective;
. Do qualitative and quantitative research on environmental issues applying a multidisciplinary and international approach;
. Provide diagnostics on specific environmental situations;
. Elaborate propositions taking into account the economic, social and environmental dimensions;
Give advice for improvement of environmental legislation application;
. Consult and discuss with the different players concerned by the subjects the team deal with;
. Communicate in diverse contexts according to the different public. |

The "environment" team works in partnership with other organisms having complementary competencies.
The team also cooperates actively with the others teams of the company.
In all projects, the team offers the utilisation of the information and communication technologies such as publishing tools, CD-Roms, on line surveys, Internet sites, .... elaborated in collaboration with the “Diffusion and Information Systems” team. The team offers also cartographic tools elaborated in cooperation with the “Geographic Information Systems and Urban Planning” team.
