Integrated environmental survey

Mission objectives

To oversee the annual implementation of the integrated environmental survey amongst Walloon industrial companies, from the collection to the analysis of environmental data from the industrial sectors.

Achievements and impact

• Ongoing management of an annual survey of Walloon manufacturers, including overseeing the launch of the campaign and supporting respondents throughout the process.
• Validation of data reported on waste and environmental expenditure, ensuring the reliability of the data used for official reporting.
• Drafting of summary reports and thematic analyses relating to waste and environmental expenditure data, contributing to the sectoral analysis of these issues in Wallonia.
• Production of environmental data submitted to European authorities as part of regulatory reporting (E-PRTR, Waste Statistics Regulation), ensuring Wallonia’s compliance with its European obligations.
