Mission objectives
Equip Walloon municipal staff to assess the vulnerabilities of their territory and integrate climate change adaptation into municipal action.
Achievements and impact
- Design and delivery of three modules within a training programme on territorial adaptation and resilience:
- risk mapping tools and territorial vulnerability assessment;
- aligning adaptation with other municipal plans (SECAP, flood risk management plans, etc.);
- financing adaptation.
- 3 training cycles held in Charleroi, Liège and Namur in 2023-2024, with around 50 participants per session.
