Training teachers in resilience and climate change

Mission objectives
Give secondary school teachers the knowledge and tools to address resilience and climate change with their pupils and within their school.
Achievements and impact
- With GoodPlanet (2022-2023), under the SPW “Resilience” call for projects:
- a tool to assess a school’s resilience to climate change, with a user guide;
- training for teachers and Eco-Teams on resilience, systems thinking and vulnerability assessment;
- support for GoodPlanet coaches and expert advice on the resilience projects of the schools supported.
- With Empreintes (2023-2024), under the Walloon Recovery Plan: a half-day module on resilience, systems thinking and vulnerability assessment tools, integrated into a 3-day continuing education programme for teachers and delivered 4 times.
- Evaluation and adjustment of the modules after each session.
