‘Low-Carbon’ Roadmap 2050

Mission objectives

To support Walloon industry federations in drawing up forward-looking sectoral roadmaps aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80 to 95 per cent by 2050.

Achievements and impact

• Development of participatory scenarios modelling the evolution of the relevant industrial sectors up to 2050.
• Quantification of measures to reduce CO₂ emissions and development of the associated evolution trajectories using a tool developed by the ICEDD.
• A comprehensive analysis covering raw materials, products, regulation and transport, going beyond energy-related aspects alone.
