Objectives
Identify and prioritise safe, attractive cycle routes based on potential usage and users’ needs.
Execution
Supporting public authorities in developing this tool for the Province of Walloon Brabant and the district of Liège:
- Facilitating workshops with local stakeholders, residents and cyclists
- Consulting residents via an online mapping platform
- Consolidating sometimes fragmented projects (region, municipalities, provinces, etc.) into a shared vision
- Proposing new connections and infrastructure (cycle paths, measures to limit motor traffic and speed limits, etc.)
- Prioritising projects with road authorities
