Development of an urban greenway in Namur
Context
The study involves defining the route and development guidelines for the Namur greenway, which will link the Jambes station to the Namur station, from Amée park to RAVeL L142 in Saint-Servais, a link of about 4 km, largely in a dedicated lane. Given the very high number of projects in progress or being studied in the immediate vicinity of the route, this master plan aims to ensure that this greenway duly taken into account until it is fully implemented.
Objectives
- Define a continuous dedicated lane or one that uses, by way of exception, existing public roads;
- Target optimal quality: continuity, safety, attractiveness, permeability and efficiency.
Execution
The tasks carried out by ICEDD, together with Espaces-Mobilités, are as follows:
- Coordinating the entire project;
- Locating the construction limits for the entire section;
- Creating cross-section profiles;
- Identifying points for attention for each section.
