Support for applicants and successful bidders in calls for proposals for circular construction projects, services and products
Context
The Walloon Region launched several calls for projects relating to the circular economy in the construction sector in 2022 and 2023. ICEDD, together with various partners and subcontractors, supports both applicants in submitting their applications and successful applicants in implementing their projects.
Objectives
The aim of these calls for proposals is to encourage the design of buildings and the delivery of innovative construction projects based on the circular economy, and to foster the development of pilot initiatives in the field of circularity within the construction sector.
Execution
The support structure, comprising ICEDD and various subcontractors, aims first and foremost to encourage and enhance applications to the call for proposals in order to secure the most relevant and well-developed projects in terms of circularity. Providing support to successful applicants throughout the implementation of their projects enables these projects to evolve towards ever greater circularity and offers assistance in overcoming the various barriers encountered when rolling out these innovative projects.
